We’re All Going to Honduras!

It is indeed a marvelous blessing to be part of the church family here at Karns. We asked for your help to defray the costs of going to Honduras and you came through. As your shepherds we are very pleased with everyone’s willingness to participate in our family’s efforts to take the gospel to the many souls in Villa de San Francisco. We appreciate the money given and most importantly we covet your prayers for great success.

We have about 30 folks making plans to travel to Honduras and be your feet and hands there to get the work done. This year, Lord willing, we plan to continue with evangelistic outreach efforts to grow and strengthen the brethren there. We also plan to provide medical attention to those families who are members of the Lord’s body both in Villa de San Francisco and Guadalajara. This year, as something new, we will be involved with providing assistance to our brethren there in completing the construction of their new building.

We know that not everyone is capable of making this kind of commitment and trip to Honduras, but your efforts through giving, encouraging words, and prayers are every bit as important to the success of this mission. May the Lord bless our efforts and may we all grow even closer as a family from this experience.

Just as the apostle Paul was thankful for the help received in carrying out his ministry among the saints, we are no less thankful to you. For I bear witness that according to their ability, yes, and beyond their ability, they were freely willing, imploring us with much urgency that we would receive the gift and the fellowship of the ministering to the saints. And not only as we had hoped, but they first gave themselves to the Lord, and then to us by the will of God (II Cor. 8:3-5).
